The conversation itself happens directly between the patient and your practice. Your practice remains responsible for HIPAA compliance in how you handle patient calls.
What if a call is from a patient outside my insurance network? β–Ό
Calls are not filtered by insurance. You may receive calls from patients of any insurance type. If a call connects for 60+ seconds but you determine the patient is not suitable, you are still charged your bid. We recommend stating your accepted insurance upfront in calls to screen efficiently.
